    Ryan Domm is a self-professed foodie. “I love to cook and share. Every day is Thanksgiving for me. I get joy out of cooking for others,” she said.

    Ryan shares her love of cooking by volunteering as a Guest Chef at Ronald McDonald House Charities® Oklahoma City through her employer, Dell. Each month, she and a team of co-workers plan and prepare comforting meals for the families who are staying at the Oklahoma City Ronald McDonald Houses and have spent the day at the hospital with their children. Families come back to the House in the evening to eat and rest, before returning to their child’s bedside.

    “It’s easy to take our health for granted. No one ever imagines having a sick child. Being able to share something as simple as a meal is so important. That meal provides comfort when you feel there’s nothing secure in your world,” Ryan said. “My heart and passion are for volunteering. I am so thankful to be able to volunteer at Ronald McDonald House Charities Oklahoma City.”
