Choosing to help in a variety of ways

There are several ways — both big and small — where you can make a big difference in the lives of our families at Ronald McDonald House Charities® Oklahoma City. From collecting pull-tabs to holding a Wish List drive or collecting change, every simple gesture helps make our “home-away-from-home” more comfortable for our families.

Wish List

Keeping our House and Family Room stocked with basic home necessities requires a lot of donated food items and supplies. We can always utilize non-perishable food, household goods such as laundry detergent and fabric softener sheets, cleaning products and office supplies. All donated items must be new for the safety of our guest families and volunteers.

Pull-Tabs Program

Pull-tabs, the little rings on top of many cans, are not only very easy to collect, but they teach people of all ages about philanthropy and provide awareness about our mission. Pull-tabs are cleaner and more convenient to store than aluminum cans. They are welcomed by our local recycler who works with RMHC-OKC to raise funds.
Any container can be used for starting a community pull-tab collection at school, church, or work. RMHC-OKC collection boxes can be also be purchased for $.25 each.  Please don’t mail them and incur any postage fees, pull-tabs donations can be dropped off at our Administrative Offices located at 13439 Broadway Ext, Edmond, OK – (405) 424-6873.

Donation Box Giving & Round Up for RMHC

An easy way for you to help support RMHC-OKC is to drop your spare change in the RMHC-OKC Donation Boxes or ask to round up your order total to the next whole dollar at participating McDonald’s restaurants. Little by little, it adds up and means a lot. On average, the change collected equates to 1,000 nights of stay for guest families.

Collect Change

Start your own change collection. Your spare change adds up to help families in need. Just one collection box can allow a family to stay with us for one night. Collection boxes can be purchased for $1.00 and are great for starting a community collection at school, church, or work. If you need assistance, please contact us at rmhc@rmhc-okc.org.

Vehicle Donation Program

By donating your car, truck, boat or RV to our House, you can help provide families with a “home away from home” and keep them together during the hospitalization of a seriously ill child. 

 Easy steps to donating your vehicle:

• Inform RMHC-OKC of your intention – Contact us at (405) 424-6873
• Call the 800 number – 855-CARS-HELP (855-227-7435) or fill out a form online
• We tow the vehicle at no cost to you
• We auction the vehicle and send you the receipt for your taxes
• We receive the proceeds 

Whether it runs or not, your unused car, truck, boat, RV, construction or oilfield equipment will help.
